The Corporate Sector Authority is a military body charged with the protection of the Corporate Sector. Using Imperial benefactors as a template, the Corporate Sector Authority is a highly militant organization, but with the best interests of the people in mind.
The Corporate Armed Forces combat piracy, slaving and smuggling to protect the citizens and corporations of the Corporate Sector.
Galactic Stock ExchangeThe GSE is a way that sims can invest their money into stock funds based off of real life companies. The CSA acts as the broker and manages the transactions made in the GSE. The GSE is a creative way for sims to earn a little extra cash if nessecary. Most transactions would be on a personal level, however, as it would be impractical for governments to invest money in companies. Companies will follow the trends and progress (or digress) of real life companies that trade on the NYSE. For example, the sim company Armek (manufacturer or Ion Cannons) may be represented by the real life corporation Intel. However Intel's stock performs dictates how Armek does. All announcements, such as product releases, job cuts, or other messages can be "translated" to reflect the purpose of the Star Wars company.
